You are kindly invited: “ACCIAIO 11” by Marco Bruzzone
Samstag, 18.01.2014 15-20h, Ausstellungsdauer 18.01.-14.02.2014
“ACCIAIO 11” is a project by the Berlin-based Italian artist Marco Bruzzone. It follows the radical change of rythms and habits that workers had encountered during the passage from rural life to working in city factories.
Exploring the role of pasta as a modern structure, the artist has invented his own steel-beam-shaped pasta. The pasta is displayed through a series of still life photographs and can be ordered in the
restaurant for the duration of the exhibition. A research library with a selection of books compiled by the artist can be accessed on request.
Acciaio11 was originally curated by Cripta747 on the occasion of Artissima Lido 2011. The project is made possible with the support of Pastificio Le Tre Uova and the help of Barilla Historical Archive.
Off-Menu 03 by “d i n g u m” is one of a series of exhibition projects curated by
Hannes Schmidt and Dennis Oliver Schroer.
